PG 629 "F1/10 Autonomous Racing: Head to Head Capabilities" receives P^5 Award

Project Group 629 "F1/10 Autonomous Racing: Head to Head Capabilities", organized by the DAES group at TU Dortmund Universit, wins this year's P^5 Competition. The P5 Award is awarded by the “Alumni der Informatik der TU Dortmund” and given to the winners every year in the context of the “Dortmunder Alumni-Tag” (DAT).

The concept of "F1/10 Autonomous Racing: Head to Head Capabilities" is to build up a team for the F1/10 Autonomous Racing Competition, at which 1:10 scaled remote-controlled cars (RC cars) with augmented sensors and dedicated computing hardware are used to demonstrate and experiment with autonomous driving concepts. The further details can also be found on Github: https://github.com/tu-dortmund-ls12-rt/ar-tu-do

This project group was supervised by Dr.-Ing. Kuan-Hsun Chen and Niklas Ueter from the DAES group.
